借助 FDT 1.2 Communication DTM, DF PROFI – 結(jié)合任意一個 FDT 1.2-功能強(qiáng)大的容器程序 – 能夠用于任意一個PROFIBUS DP Slave 的配置。許多過程控制系統(tǒng)都包含容器程序。它們也可以作為獨(dú)立的使用工具，如Pactware Association 的Pactware 。

這個 DF PROFI 系列通過層級2，7和DP可以訪問profibus，并可以作為Master, Slave或者組合主機(jī)，借助EN50170數(shù)據(jù)傳輸率可高達(dá)1.5 Mbit/s 。數(shù)據(jù)交換可以通過設(shè)備驅(qū)動程序接口實(shí)現(xiàn)，所有支持的協(xié)議變換都是可裝載固件的一部分。該板可作為PCI板使用。對于PROFIBUS DP/DPV1來說，該板是由COMSOFT OPC Server 和FDT 1.2 Communication DTM支持的。
